Solving Date Problems in Excel PivotTables

When importing data into Microsoft Excel, sometimes the date comes in as text instead of a true date format. You may not even notice until you are in a PivotTable and the dates aren't acting right. Try the Text to Columns and see if you can fix your dates so they will pivot for you!
